We manage and operate a community on Discord to bring together traders, investors, quants, and anyone interested in financial markets (CeFi and DeFi). Our Discord server is owned and operated by Alkemy, but remains lead by the community. For the foreseeable future, it will remain an open to anyone and free forever.

Discord is also the main arena to stay up to date on our fund's progress, trades, and product announcements over time. We ask all investors, traders, and community members to manage their notification settings at the start of their journey with us by typing /emy notifications

Roles
We created roles to maintain a trust-based system and encourage knowledge transfers from the right individuals. We will constantly monitor all activity to ensure that our community remains respectful, free from bias, discrimination, and online bullying as long as it lives. For context, there are 3 roles on Discord, mentioned below, and how to interpret them.

| OG Investor | Pre-vetted investors who significantly contribute to the community. |
| Affiliate | Affiliate influencers and creators creating content for investors and traders. |
| Expert | Traders and investors with domain expertises in financial markets, economics, or relevant. |
The Road Ahead
To encourage social interaction, we will gamify the process by allowing traders and investors to achieve specific milestones on our platform, and through a visual dashboard, track their progress along the way. Eventually, as investors and traders progress to certain verified levels, they will be allowed to contribute positively to the community through coaching and will be rewarded for doing so. Alkemy will soon be Web3 enabled to compensate and reward investors along their journeys.
